Ok, so maybe I’m being facetious with the whole, “sit down, and shut up” thing. Notice in that statement, I didn’t include the part about making some money with me. I was serious about that part. If you’re a relatively consistent follower of mine, you’ll hear me say often that “Time is money”. With that said, I’ll elaborate expeditiously…

Lets take that commonly used phrase and dissect it. Time is money. Yes, time DEFINITELY has a monetary value. I know some may struggle with the concept I am about to mention, but once someone is successful in taming this notion, it leads to a valuable shift in perspective. The “concept” I am referring too is one in which, you learn to assess your dollar worth on a per hour basis, or euro/peso/lb etc. Point is… Have you asked yourself lately, “What is my time worth?”… and if you haven’t, give it a try, and BE HONEST with yourself. After you’ve found that dollar value for what you think your time is worth, then begin to form some comparisons. Does your current employment situation reflect that number? Basically is the wage that your paid hourly equivalent to the value you’ve determined? This question is designed to get you thinking a little deeper by the way. There’s always more than surface value. So before you start to calculate your worth I’d like to mention a few things…

1.Remember that not a single one of us knows exactly just how much time we have to even attach a value too. So does that mean some time is priceless? When you zoom out from your current view, and look at things from a wider perspective, would you find it possible to believe that you sell almost 50% of the time “coins” you get in life to an employer at a rate that leave most in want, living paycheck to paycheck ? Because most of us do… Just saying.

2.Lets say hypothetically that you discover your value quickly. Your value is $200/hour. Would you then be willing to the accept an agreement for an exchange of your time in which someone were willing to pay you $12/hour? What if it took you 3 hours to landscape your yard each week | 4 weeks in a month | total of 12 hours invested into landscaping = $2400 ? OR! Would you pay that kid you know that just started a business and would do it for $200 a month?

Heres where I’m going with all of this…

If you were able to pick up what I’ve been putting down up to this point, you should truly be able to grasp the meaning behind the cliche phrase “time is money”. And with that said, as I began my quest to seek out respectable, honest, and profitable platforms to generate real wealth, I noticed a HUGE trend. That being, every other link was someone else claiming to be a guru, or have the latest and greatest system to bless me with untold riches…which is cool and all BUT! They ARE HUGE time wasters, a true blackhole for valuable time that will suck in every second that comes across their event horizon line! It should actually be a crime! Chronocide we’ll call it. These guys literally murder the valuable minutes that you could be investing in platforms that actually work and produce results.

Fortunately for my followers, I don’t just voice my displeasure without providing a solution. I have a 100% legitimate site that I have already done the homework on, taken for a test run, and I approve. The platform I’m going to introduce you too is Voices.com

Go to voices.com and create your profile (completely free). Give some information, things like “how would you describe your voice?” or “what roles would your voice be best fitting for?”. All easy enough so far. Everything is fast, simple and completely free. The only part you may want to take your time on, is the point in which you are able to create a demo of your voice (the product your selling). I’d suggest just making sure you have a clean, clear, articulate demo.

After your demo is uploaded the only thing left to do is wait for an email. Behind the scenes of voices.com there are a plethora of companies both private and commercial always looking for voice over actors/actresses, audio book producers, etc. They find the voices they need by listening to samples of the demos provided by voices.com. Let’s say you’re selected! Great! Now pay me! I could not find many instances of foul play, or complaints against voices.com when it came to payment for services rendered. They offer a cut and dry payment method that uses paypals platform, guaranteeing that you are paid promptly and securely.

So if you’re currently on the hunt for creative or abstract ways to make money from home, well there you have it. I’ve done the leg work, now go put your voice to work! When was the last time you treated yourself to a day trip? Ok. Now when was the last time you treated yourself to a day trip that you actually enjoyed? Maybe you do it often. Or maybe you’ve done the same thing that I’ve done to myself over and over again, and robbed yourself of much deserved leisure time with some type of occupational justification.

I get it! Sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in a day to accommodate your growing arsenal of interests and talents. However, leisure time is important. We have to give our mind and body the rest it needs to continue functioning at optimal levels. You’re no good to any team , family member, or friend if you’re constantly walking around stressed out and fatigued due to the fact that you’re putting in 16 hour days to support your budding financial/personal endeavors. I find it incredibly important to at least make an attempt at finding a healthy balance between time dedicated to work vs time spent on leisure. As cliche as it may sound… Life is in fact incredibly short. Too short if you ask me. I doubt anyone has yet to use their last breath in utterance of “I should have worked more” before finally parting with their death bed.

The new year always seems to bring a rush of motivation out of hibernation for me personally. Almost every year as soon as January hits the calendar I feel a sudden influx of creativity and focus. So much so that it can be a battle at times to find a clear channel in which to funnel my efforts. I decided to approach the new year a little differently this go round and focus on not letting my wave of creativity and focus go to waste. While at the same time, making time for the people and things that matter most to me.

Yesterday was my birthday!! And quite honestly probably one of the best that I’ve had in an incredibly long time. I watched a heart dissection performed in front of me live, I had some electricity pumped through my skeletal system, I watched a volcano erupt, I climbed through the neural pathway of a human brain, and still made it home in time to cash in on a booming day in the crypto world! Oh! I nearly forgot… I also got my hands on a piece of tech that, honest to God is changing the world. More about that soon though. Be on the lookout for my brand new YouTube channel where you can watch me unbox this item with your own two eyes. Or don’t… your loss. If you somehow think that I’m blowing smoke, or just trying to sound interesting… I’m not mad at you. It just means you need to stick around a little while longer and get to know me.

If you’re wondering where you have to go or how much you have to spend to experience a day like the one I experienced yesterday, I’ll break it down for you real quick. We live in a hyper connected society! Before you walk out of your house in the morning you can essentially plan every moment of your day , check your route, analyze reviews on the places your going, find promotional events in your area, AND look for ways to save your hard earned money! My better half has more talent than I do in that department. And it’s thanks to her that we had a smooth educational and enjoyable day.

To experience all of these mind blowing activities it was as simple as a planned day trip to the Franklin Institute. Now I’ll admit, I haven’t been there since I was in the 5th grade, and I didn’t know exactly how much I’d enjoy myself while possibly surrounded by hordes of rambunctious children touching everything and everyone around them. The answer to that was simple enough however, and I’ll offer my advice to any of my readers who may be interested in attending events like the one we enjoyed. If there’s the possibility of large groups of school children being present and you prefer a quiet atmosphere, choose your timing wisely. I’d recommend the 1:30 – 2:30pm ball park. During the school year you can expect the bulk of young bodies to be in the process of being herded onto the same buses that dropped them off earlier that morning right around this time. Then you can relax! It was virtually silent after the bright young minds departed and I was able to enjoy the full experience. If cost is your concern, well there’s actually a wide range of options and tactics for getting the most out of your trip while on a budget. Put your device to good use and do some homework to pinpoint some cost reducing options. We spent maybe a whole $50 usd and covered our entire day. That’s ; parking, admission, beverages, an imax movie, gas, tolls, and one sticker valued at $2.97. I think we did pretty good! One of the key take aways from today’s post is this… Never stop satisfying your hunger for knowledge, always support your creative side, and make time for yourself and those whom you love and appreciate.
